JTE is a sort of partnership of 4 musicians mainly based in a recording studio in Pasadena,Ca.
We basically are a Professional group of musicians who enable a client(singer or musician) to have professional quality multitracks, in order to prepare commercial product ,in their name .This is done by going in the studio and allowing them to lay their guide track recorded with our studio musican staff using our expertise in selecting music repetoire, styles ,arranging and performing acoustic jazz tracks .
After the accompaniment tracks are completed the client is then able to take time to practise with the tracks and later record by overdubbing for their best possible performance.
This is very cost efficient
1,The Musicians are able to quickly produce any acoustic jazz tracks in 1 or 2 takes
and a 3 hour minimum session is enough time for 5 to 10 tracks.
2.The client is present during the entire process for their input in the direction :style selection i.e swing ballad,latin,swing etc,any tempos and length of pieces to be performed.
3.The studio is state of the art and has a comfortable environment and the engineer is also a highly capable professional musician and will also see the project thru to the end if desired by the client.
4.We charge by the session @ $1200/per session guaranteeing between 5 to 10 tracks of cd quality great sounding acoustic jazz tracks!

Art Porter ,Sr ,Albert King ,Little Johnny Taylor, Major Lance graduated UAPB(U of Arkansas ,Pine Bluff)
BA ,Music ED. In San Francisco studied Bass w/Charles Siani,Ortiz Walton ,played with Oakland Symphony/San Francisco Ballet Orch at the same time began a long career as bassist w John Handy,George Duke,
Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Dizzy Gillespie, Bobby Hutcherson,Harold Land,Pharoah Sanders, Eddy Jefferson, Esther Phillips, Thelonius Monk, Max Roach, Joe Henderson, Eddy Harris, Randy Weston,
Eddy ”Cleanhead” Vinson, Toots Theilman,Anthony Braxton, Oliver Lake, Dewey Redmond., Jon Hendriks,Earl Hines, Count Basie(1982) .Played Broadway Shows in New York ,Los Angeles and San Francisco He ,moved to Los Angeles(1982),studied film scoring with Albert Harris scored 2 short films
joined Sammy Davis ,Jr (1984-89),Nancy Wilson(1991-1993).Recorded “DOUBLE BASS Choir cd (w/5 string basses) featuring Al McKibbon,John Clayton. James rejoined Count Basie Orchestra in 1995 and currently tours the world with Count Basie Orchestra winning 2 Grammy awards along the way.
